Jeremiah Masoli

“I never had a minute's trouble with the kid. He was my captain. He couldn't do enough. He was on time, he was respectful, he was a good student.”

-- George Rush
San Francisco City College Coach

“He is a very humble young man. He’s understated and low-key -- someone you’d want your young son to be mentored by.”

-- Hon. Walter Kirimatsu
President of St. Louis High School; retired Hawaii Supreme Court Judge

My brief experience with the SF 49ers was incredible. No doubt the NFL Lockout took away precious practice time and the opportunity for an Undrafted Free Agent to make a mark and ultimately the final roster. As an unconventional QB, my journey may take longer than others, but it's my journey and I can only become better for it. I am thankful that the Omaha Nighthawks organization belief in me and what I have to offer the team. I look forward to working hard with my new teammates to get ready for the upcoming UFL season. Again, I want to thank my forever faithful family, friends and fans who follow me and support me wherever I go. My best to you,

Coach Glanville Likes Masoli & Nighthawks for the Win

excerpt from Dusty and The Coach - Week # Predictions

by Dusty Sloan

“I watched both of them play,” Glanville said. “I saw Masoli play at Oregon before he transferred to Mississippi. He’s not a normal rookie. He’s not a normal player. He’s a big-time guy. I’ve seen him run like a fullback. I’ve seen him run with explosive power. His last year at Oregon, he was a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate. And I look for him to come back to that type of excellence. This guy is a special player. And now that he’s got the reigns by himself, I think his rhythm will come back, and he’ll play real good.”
